When Book Events Go Wild
The first book event at Warwick's was wild. I've never done a book signing, but I've been to a ton and wanted to try something different. Inspired by a college drinking game, every time my adorable 75 year-old mom cheered in the front row, the audience did the wave. It was fun, and then I threw away my speech, spoke from the heart and I think people liked it. The audience spilled onto the street, it got a little rowdy, which made it more fun, and somehow even five guys I dated pre-Johnny showed up which made me turn as red as my dress.
The first week of your book being in the world is the most important time for sales, which is why it would mean the world to me is if you took two minutes to write a book review on Amazon, which you can do even if you bought the book at an independent retailer. Apparently, reviews on Amazon mean everything for the success of your book. As of this email, there are five reviews posted and I’d love to get this number to at least 60 next week.
So Please write a review here. Funny comments are also appreciated.
If you weren't able to make it to Warwick's I would love to meet you in person at one of my upcoming Will to Wild book events!
