TELL BETTER STORIES
I published my first story in a major newspaper when I was 15, and I sold my first story to a national magazine a year later.
Since then, I have interviewed hundreds of entrepreneurs about their brands, and listened to stories from thousands of athletes, every day Joes and major CEOs. As a freelance writer, I’ve also pitched thousands of stories to editors at media outlets all over the world. I know what stories “stick.”
Today, I love helping brands and people tell their stories to other journalists, to other fans, and to their followers, but better. I also get really excited about people doing AWESOME work. In a time where we are inundated with products and info, telling and crafting meaningful stories is more important than ever.
Brands, people, PR firms and major agencies hire me to craft personal and company bios, press releases, media kits, book proposals, packaging, blogs, catalog copy, brand statements, social media plans, pitches, sales proposals, and other messaging to help them propel their businesses.
Sometimes I seek them out, but usually they find me. I work with them for a few months to a few years at a time to re-shift their media strategy, and help them tell their stories better. So far, it’s been a good run.
